I know it is basic question, but after reading the thread just got dought.
I am planning to use AC21 soon, if my employer revokes I 140, is that going to effect my case?
My details:-
Worked employer for 4 years
Labour substitution 2.5 years back
I 140 approved 2 yrs back(06/2006)
I1485 filed in July 2007

When did you file I-140 at TX? RFE could be for documents about ability to pay.

This is the always problem with USCIS in porting PD. In my case they have put PD as 485 application received date. The only solution to this is ..Keep your attorney in the loop and ask them to send letters repeatedly and call the customer service center repeatedly..
There is no other way you can correct the PD. In my case I had an interview with officer and we gave both i-140 documents and told officer PD was printed wrong on interview letter. Officer said she will look into it and we dont know whether she corrected it or not.

In order to apply under EB1, she must be L1-A holder which means her positions before/after the internal transfer are at executive or managerial level (some companies are very strict on their definition of "executive" level, usually not for someone with 3 years experience). Otherwise she can only get L1-B for skilled worker which is not qualified for EB1.
Her best bet is to apply for H1-B, the fact that her husband is GC holder does not matter to her H1-B application as long as her employer gets her H1-B quota and 797.

irrational - Sorry to say this is little bit unlucky case. This happened to me also. My case got transferred to VSC from TSC in July 2009 and from then it is sitting there with no progress. Taken info pass but no use. (Yet to think about the next steps!).
I applied for EAD and AP in Aug last week and got the approved copies in Sep second week. I sent the application to TSC.

my case was in VSC for about 10 months then for last 10 days or so its been going back and forth. I did not do anything at all at my end to move it back to TSC. You wont believe this, i got another email this morning that my case has been transferred again to Lincoln,NE (i guess this is Nebraska Service Center).
so now the sequence is TSC--->VSC--->TSC---->NSC---->USCIS Office(local office)--->Lincoln, NE:confused:
only service center that is left out is California:D

My issue happened in 2005. I cannot recall the exact phrase but I determined that they lost the attached check. If you look at my old posts, you will find how my issue was resolved. The re-submission letter must be marked with "mail-room - do not open" and should be sent to service center director directly.

For every IV member that gets their GC, would it be too much to ask them to contribute say at least $100/- ? May be this can become a norm and the starting point for an "IV Alumni" :)

I found an article that explains the 180 day rule a little better. I believe it is called section 245(k). You should definitely get advice through an experienced attorney to make sure.

My wife collected her's from VFS but they do not give it out the same day either at the consulate or the VFS. The earliest I guess is 3 PM the next day that you can collect it.

Sorry to hear about marital discord. Do talk to your attorney and see what steps needed to be taken further.
My advice, first concentrate on your family. Do try to resolve the issues with your wife. Do give preference to your daughter. Green Cards / Work permits can be obtained later also. Don't worry too much about the GC.

I am not surprised at logiclife's or the poll's reply. IV is an ultra-narrow organization that seeks to satisfy the founders' self-interest only. Don't be surprised if they drop you all like a hot potato once their interests are satisfied.

The unused visas between 2000 and 2006 is just 101,596 only, after 50,000 recaptured for nurses. Not 181,000. It is wrong info.
If they recapture from 1994 to 2006, then we will get 216,000 EB visas.
