don't take this the wrong way, but these "biggots" you speak of are a lot like the born-again christians that corner you at the coffee machine trying to get you to go to church with them. (in fact, i even remember a mac fac site called "evangelista"!) macs offer simplicity, stability, and peace of mind--we do not have to travel through the blue screen of death, because the mac is with us! most of us, at one time, were just like you, using those evil windoze machines. but now "we have seen the light!" and can't possibly imagine how you could continue in your suffering. you don't know the peace you could have if you just gave the mac a chance. do you see the metaphor here?
and one thing many windoze people say is, "if macs are so much better, why only 5% market share?" well, christianity started with less market share than that, and it is certainly better than baal or ishtar, just to name a few!
and just for the record, i am a mac biggot. would you like to come over sunday? i can show you how to use iMovie!!!!:D

Powerpoint no longer spews weird error messages instead of animated my complicated and lengthy presentation, so that's a plus.

The research note also included the results of a proprietary survey of over 2000 respondents in the United States conducted March 14-23, interestingly revealing 40% higher demand for the iPad 2 than in a similar survey conducted for the first-generation models in May 2010. According to the survey, 28% of respondents are either "very likely" or "somewhat likely" to purchase an iPad 2, up from 20% for the first-generation iPad last May.

So, earlier in the week I had an issue with my iPhone and it wasn't working. While my phone was out of commission, I was watching G4 TV and X-Play was on and they had a review of games on the iPhone. The game I saw was an RPG mixed with a Bejeweled game. You would be fighting a creature and in order to gain armor, health, and attacks you have to match items like Bejeweled. Swords, Hearts, Potions, things of that nature. I never wrote the name of the game down and I've clearly forgotten the name. Even googling G4 isnt helping at the moment so I figured I would come here and ask:
Does anyone know the name of this game from how I described it? Its driving me crazy ;)

Even after that comparison of Apple's products to Windows', I'd still buy Apple.
Don't tell me that I'm wasting my money just because I can easily afford to purchase a Mac. Most of the people that talk crap about Macs are the ones that can't afford them, so of course they're going to talk bad about them.
I like cheap car vs. luxury car analogy. A Kia has four wheels, a windshield, a hood, and a trunk just as Rolls Royce does, but should Kia start a campaign that calls Rolls Royce over priced and a waste of your money? I certainly hope not.

Well since you're on a streak here, how do you feel about public education? Is elementary school a government handout and should be best left to private schools, even for those who can't foot the bill?

What is the native resolution that your plasma display supports? You may actually have a problem with using a DVI-HDMI cable at a high resolution. I once tried hooking up a Mini G4 to a 37" Sharp LCD (1920x1080) using a DVI-HDMI cable and I could not get a picture at all. The same Mini connected to a 24" LCD (1920x1200) using a Dual Link DVI cable worked just fine. I suspect the dual-link high-resolution support is dependent on a proper DVI cable.

As a matter of fact, I am the first person to reply to you and I'm guessing you will have fewer than five people directly answer your query.
That said, I will point out that the demographic of early iPad buyers would not lead anyone into the conclusion that this buying audience would need to resell used devices to fund purchases of new ones. The median income of the early iPad adopters was something like over $100,000. I consider the readership demographic of this blog to be materially different than the average Apple customer.
Plus, the number of used iPads for sale is a miniscule fraction of the total number sold.
Personally, I will gift my original iPad to relatives whom I expect will use it for many, many years. Much like my 12" PowerBook G4 is still being used by a family member, something like seven years after I bought it. There's your sample size of one.

If this was based on network traffic, They would stop sales in stores too. There are more than enough AT&T stores in NYC and other places like Bestbuy that New Yorkers can easily just walk or take a quick subway ride too. Stopping online sales will not deter any New Yorker from purchasing an iPhone.
Fraud seems like a reasonable explanation, anyone who believes otherwise is reaching for the stars.

And Mac users consider themselves as computer savy, LOL! They prefer a simple OS that a monkey could use. Now that's savy.
If a person is looking for the best overall experience, even if they lack technical skills, if not luck, it could be a very savvy decision. :)

Craigslist seems good if you don't mind selling locally.
You'll probably get better money on eBay, since you're able to sell country-wide, and the auction format seems to encourage people to over-bid. The down side is slightly more risk, and the 'eBay tax'.
Personally, I sell everything on eBay.
