The rumor is the world cat will be current and all others unavailable since the quota for those countries are already filled. Sounds logical. Sadly, my app will be screwed in that case. Hopefully that'll consume some numbers from RoW and there might be some overflow next year (or the year after... or maybe after 7 years and who knows 10).

Mr. Dobbs is known for his strong views against immigrants, including considering immigrants to be responsible for the spread of incurable diseases such as Drug-resistant Tuberculosis, Leprosy etc. From past experience on CNN, he is also highly likely to blame the current crisis in Auto Industry to the so-called "importation of cheap labor from third world countries".
In the interests of fairness, you should also air the counter-views while providing coverage to such strong one-sided views. This would provide a balanced coverage to your viewers.
In the absence of such unbiased coverage, Mr. Dobbs verbal attacks may provoke physical attacks against foreigners as well as any foreign-looking persons by misguided elements provoked by your show. If such incidents do happen, please understand that your network will be indirectly responsible and liable to the foreigners affected.
As a concerned party I would like to know -
1) What action your network is taking to provide coverage of the other point of view, in the interests of fairness?

Iam hoping to get an H1B extension before my travel to india.IF I come back on AP without stamping a valid H1B on my passport, my status is Parolee.Now if my AOS is denied for some reason, what will be my status? Will I be out of status? How will I go back to H1 status?Do I have to travel back to India and stamp the visa? or you can just file an amendment and get the H1 extended?

How can people write this kind of information. Even I have come through and Indian company and I used to pay all taxes here which includes, Federal, Social, State etc.,
This should end. People here should know that we are paying all taxes. And we are paying Social Security tax as well. Because of retrogression we don't yet know if we would get our green card. We still pay for it and we don't take a dime of it if we have to go back to India.
We are helping the elders to have regular pay and this is what we hear? If there is a way as our friend said we should confront this legally.

I quite do not get what you are asking. You want to know if buying a call on an ETF that has had a drawdown with an expiration of less than 15 days will be profitable?
There are various option strategies and I usually trade spreads as the most basic strategy. I rarely if ever buy just calls that too with such low theta (<15 days). I usually trade 4 legged spreads like the butterfly, iron condor or at least bull/bear calls/puts.
Most of the time I am long vol (vega) with a strip strap or straddle. Sometimes I am short vega but hedge it with an exotic like a digital, or binary on the vix. I always go for optimal delta hedge and often construct synthetics. Never plain vanilla calls and puts unless I am hedging something else in a different universe with an option.
If you can explain better what your strategy is I can make comments. If possible clearly state the greeks on the strategy so I can visualize it.

It is an unfair practice and should have been stopped long time back.
It's never too late though.
Selling labors became the business model of manyof these companies.

I had a question for all on the eb3 to eb2 porting - once the new EB2 labor gets approved and one applies for I-140 lets say in premium processing with the interfiling letter - does one need to reapply for I-485 once the I-140 is approved for the Eb2 application? This is for many EB3 folks that have been waiting after having applied for for I-485 in 2007. Any insight will be appreciated.

I know there was a long discussion about this a while ago. My PD is in 2005 in EB2 category.
Any guesses as to how long it will take without any reform? Is there a good guess on the total number of pending LCs in the queue? I would like to take that number and divide by 1400 (2800 for EB2/2).

I got back through JFK. Had Valid H1 and AP. Unfortunately (kicking myself) , my EAD was insidethe passport too. IO saw it n said you'll need to use AP and took us to interview room, no questions asked, but took another 25 minutes. Now am Parolled... and I94 says Parolled until .....
Moral of the story : If you have valid H1 stamped , keep the AP tucked away. Can't argue with the ignorant mo fo s at the counter..

my I-485 was pending from 2001 and then my case was transfered to NBC I had an interview and then I got the I-797 Welcome Notice welcoming me as a permanent resident of the United States and it said on the notice you will get your green card in the mail in about 3 weeks and then checked my online status it said we ordered the card for production
ok at this point everything is looking good
and then after 5 days check my status online
found the following :
