Has anyone here chipped their Wii's yet ?
I'm thinking of getting mine chipped to save alot of money and import my wii games from the USA.
It will also mean I'm not waiting months for the pal version to arrive. (Still no trauma centre)
I hoped Datel would have released a wii freeloader - but it's not looking likely according to folks over on the code-junkies forums.
Has anyone experience of this - and whats the general consensus ? too early ? too unreliable ?

you could try:
div.searchdiv{
height:100%;
}
but i have never tried that before (also 100% is relative to the container aka a div)

Are you doing this for internal traffic only? Or from traffic being routed between en0 and en1?

Myspace is a very very powerful promotional tool for bands. My own band uses it, and I frequently use it to find new music to listen to.
There is more to myspace then 13 year old girls dressing up like sluts and demanding comments.
True. You're one of two I know on MacRumors who belongs to a band that promotes on MySpace.
It does get a little tiring with all of the people posting 8 bulletins at a time requesting comments or whoring their friends or themselves. Of course, that's only temporary since I delete them within a few days.

I've got the IceKey and like it. Much better than the "standard" Apple keyboard. The action is very "crisp". It's a bit like the keyboard of a Powerbook. I'd go with it. As I recall it wasn't that expensive either. Cheers

Hi All...
I was hoping for some help and guidance. I've been a network engineer for 15 years now. All of my experience is in the Microsoft arena. Lately, my organization has been adopting MAC / Apple products ( iPad, iPhones, etc. ) but we've now gone as far as to purchase our first MAC desktop system, an iMAC.
Having no formal training in administering an iMAC in a Windows AD Domain ( 2008 ) I've been scouring the internet ( Google ) looking for as much information as I can. So far, I've been able to integrate it into our AD Domain and have network users login and have access to their network home directories.
I am, however, suffering in a couple of areas and was hoping that I could get some real world advice on the following:
1) What is the best way for me to administer this computer remotely using my Windows 7 Pro workstation? Example: Remotely connecting to it for help desk and other needs. Currently I use Dameware NT Utilities to remotely connect and administer my PC based workstations. Is there a similar utility for iMAC's that will run on Windows 7?
2) Login scripts... How am I able to accomplish this on a MAC? My PC based workstations use a batch file to map network drives and other things needed at login.
3) What is the best way for me to be able to control the iMAC through Group Policies? Or maybe I should be asking if this is even possible?
I appreciate in advance for any help your able to give! :)

I do appreciate it and I'll make sure to credit you in helping me when I explain to the client. As much as I wanted to do it myself, I just had to ask b/c this photo deserves to be fixed properly :)

can run tiny umbrella on an ipad 2. I tried to save shsh blobs and nothing happens. I did this on my iphoen last month and it worked fine
Get the latest version of TinyUmbrella. It needs to be updated each time a new firmware is released.

Simple, play dumb. Claim it was there when you got it.

I love my G5 PowerPC- works beautifully, but I'm looking to upgrade from the PowerPC chip set to an Intel set, since it appears the software people don't want to support it anymore. I want to know if I can cannibalize my old Power Mac- just install the hard drives and memory into a couple of Intel Mac Pros that I'm looking at. Bottom line: are the memory and hard drives compatible?

Ok so you're obviously not at an Apple store. Best buy? Target? I can't imagine Walmart only getting 1.
My walmart said they only got 3. WTF!!

I've never used any of those cases, but you might find better opinions on the iPhone Accessories subforum.

And if you would have taken the time to go to the right forum and look on the first page you would have seen that we have been talking about it since 8pm last night.

Now, can we teach wolves to bring down helicopters?I'm kind of thinking of arming a moose with a heat-seeking missiles, but to say more would put us in PRSI territory. ;)

That article is rather inaccurate. The Killzone footage was pre-rendered, for one the graphics of both consoles will not be too terribly different, save on exclusives.

In general, FileVault is useless, IMHO. You are better off using Disk Utility to create a password protected Disk Image and storing personal information there.
As for optimizing - I don't know if you can force it to optimize, but it should ask you again if you logout/shutdown.
